Busy Start to the New Year!

On Monday January 15th, units responded to Interstate 70 in the area of the 62-mile marker for a tractor-trailer on its side with one trapped. Driver was quickly extricated by RS15.
On Tuesday January 16th, units respond to a report of a first due house fire in Lake Linganore. E152 first arriving, found a fireplace with a clogged chimney and quickly scaled the assignment back to Company-15.

Everything Goes on Second Alarm

In the early morning hours of December 12, a fire broke out near the Frederick fairgrounds. First arriving companies found a three-story building with smoke showing from the top floor. E153 was transferred to Station 3. While in route on the transfer a second alarm was sounded. E153, E152 and RS15 all responded on the second alarm. On Sunday, December 10 around 22:25 box 17-30 was sounded for a house fire. E152 and RS15 responded. First Arriving Chief 11 had smoke showing and asked for the RID. Thursday night takes in another trap job. Shortly after 11PM the District and Spring Ridge were alerted for a vehicle accident on I-70EB near the 61MM. First arriving crews found a passenger vehicle verse a tractor-trailer with one trapped. RS15 arrived second later and went to work, stabilizing the vehicle, and completing a third door conversion.
