Once again the D shift firefighters from Fire Station 15 were requested upon to help fight for a cure. The local elementary school called upon the firefighters to assist in the fund raising efforts. The units from station 15 were extremely busy during the ice storm that struck the area on the evening of Monday, February 4th. The station was dispatched on 26 total runs, mostly for wires down and transformer fires. Seven of the calls were for box alarms. Four of those were working fires.
