How can I get more information about the accident on Eaglehead Drive yesterday when the car was on top of the patient. I held his/her hand until help arriving talking to the patient and letting them know you were on your way. I know you can't share personal information but if there is any way I can find out more I would greatly appreciate it. You can share my info with them if they want to know.

So good to see a web site here for my old department.
I was a member of New Market FD from 1976 to the end of 1979 when I was transferred by my employer to Charlotte, N.C. Some folks in New Market may remember me as being one of the the instigators for establishing an ambulance service at Co. 15.
When I moved to NC, I joined a rural department that has grown to a modern day FD. I served from December of 1979 to December of 1999. During that time, I eventually rose to the rank of 1st Asst. Chief along with being a N.C. State instructor. I also spent some time serving on the county fire commission, chiefs association and also a part time fire marshal. My love for the fire service has never died but it was time to let others to take over and continue the progress that was made in our department.
I am always grateful for the short time I spent at New Market and the experience and training I received from the state of Maryland. I wish New Market FD continued success in serving the citizens of the district. You all have my fond admiration!

My family and friends would like to thank the volunteers on duty this past Saturday September 10th- Zack, Dave and Tyler. You guys did an awesome job with my son's 5th birthday party. The parents and all of the kids are in awe of the job you did. We truly Thank you for the lesson's you taught and that you got dressed in full gear so the children could see you. I personally want to thank you for all of your help setting up the hall as well. I am glad to say that I live in New Market and feel safer now knowing how you all handle yourselves in a emergency. You have made impressions for a lifetime on our group.
We saw y'all today at the Food Lion! Alanna really enjoyed climbing in the truck and getting to "drive". Thank you for letting her see the inside and the gear. She is coloring her Cappy coloring book now. We appreciate all that you do for our community!!
