Around 1130hrs today units were alerted to the 11600BLK of CRICKENBERGER RD for a inj person fall from a horse, while enroute units were advised the caller was not with the pt and they had no other info but a female thrown from a horse, U-15 arrived as a 4 wheel drive and loaded up personnel and equipment and began crossing fields and several more fields and swamp area to find the pt, personnel had to exit the veh and began a ground check and cross a creek to find the pt laying in another field, a PARAMEDIC and the HELOCOPTER was requested as well as a second 4 wheel drive veh with extra supplies and manpower to help board and package the trauma pt for transport, a call from a cell phone on the scene to the 911 center gave good GPS coordinates' to the HELOCOPTER , after a fly over TROOPER-3 landed in a close field and the pt was turned over to the flight medic and flown to SHOCK TRAUMA IN BALTIMORE for treatment it took just under a hour to locate and have the pt in the air to the trauma center, due to the helocopter being able TO LAND in a close area it kept the extra time to extract the pt from the field and creek.
