In the early morning hours of Saturday April 14th Box 33-11 was alerted for the house on fire in the 5900 block of Quinn Orchard Road. ET154(Lt. Leonard) responded with 5 personnel as the second due tanker. Safety 901 arrived first to find a single story house with fire through the roof, established the Quinn Orchard Road Command and requested the Rapid Intervention Dispatch. A159(Sgt. Conaway) responded on the RIT dispatch. E331 arrived and stretched an attack line through the front door, followed by units from 3, 2, 4, 1, and 31. BC901(Coe) arrived and assumed the Command. With the closest fire hydrant being at County Meadows of Frederick, E311 and E22 laid out 1700 of 4" supply line and supplied the scene for over an hour. ET154 arrived and the crew stretched a 2 1/2" attack line to side A to assist with extinguishment. Just then command ordered an emergency evacuation of the house due to deteriorating conditions. ET154's crew moved the line to side D and knocked down the fire in the attic. Crews were then able to reenter the house after about 15 minutes and complete overhaul. After about a hour and a half units began to pack up and command held units from 33, 3, 2, and 4. ET154 returned to service at approximately 0330 hours.
