On Monday April 16th at 2030 hours Box Alarm 17-30 was alerted for the house fire in th 7700 block of Bridle Path Circle. RE153(Lt. Leonard), ET154(Capt. Lawson), and U15(Sgt. Thews) made the response with 11 personnel. C11-1(Barrick) arrived first to find a 2 story house with smoke showing. Next arriving C17(More) established the Command as C11-1 advised of a working room and contents fire. RE153 arrived as the first engine in and stretched a 200' crosslay to the rear. ET154 arrived next and secured water supply for RE153. The two crews quickly knocked the fire and checked for extension into the walls. Command scaled back the assignment to 15, 17, and 11 within 15 minutes. RE153 remained on the scene for a couple hours to assist the FM's office with the investigation. Good job by crews in making a quick knock on this fire.
