By Chief Benjamin Nalborczyk
February 23, 2013

In the early morning hours of Saturday February 23rd, 2013 Co.15 was alerted mutual aid to Carroll County for the House Fire. RE153(Chief Nalborczyk) responded with 6. Upon approaching the scene Command (CCC1 Chief Browning) advised to assist with completing CCE142's layout. RE153's crew reported to the command post and was assigned to deploy a attack line to Side-C, crews performed such. After further assessment crews were assigned to make an attempt to open the front of the house from a porch roof on Side-A based on fire conditions and compromised building construction this effort was abandoned. Command then tactically changed the mode of operations and began releasing units. RE153 assisted CCCo.1 and CCCo.14 units with cleaning up then returned to service.
