On Wednesday August 27th at 2334 hours units from New Market and Green Valley were alerted for a vehicle accident near the railroad bridge on Old Bartholows Road. RE153(Lt. Williamson) and C15-1(DFC Moe) responded with 7 volunteers. Chief 15-1 arrived on scene to find a car into the bridge with the car well off. ET254 and RE153 both deployed attack lines on arrival to extinguish the fire. A259 was able to locate the patients who initially left the scene after about fifteen minutes. Crews had the fire extinguished in a matter of minutes and all units returned to service.
