On Sunday May 31st at 1818 hours, units from the 4th Battalion and Carroll County were alerted for a house fire in the 11000 block of Green Valley Road in Johnsville. Units from Co.17 arrived to find a 2 story duplex with fire showing and requested a tanker task force to assist. E152 (Lt. Williamson) responded with a crew of 6 volunteers on the tanker task force. RE153 (Chief Nalborczyk) and C15-1 (DFC Moe) were added to the call to fill the initial assignment out. The crews made an interior attack on the fire and made quick work of it. E152 set up a tanker fill site on Molasses Road. RE153 assisted with overhaul. The tanker task force was placed in service a short time later and crews remained on scene for some time. D17 (Ritter) had the Green Valley Road Command.
