On Friday June 12th, just before 2200 hours, units from New Market and Mount Airy were alerted for a vehicle accident with rollover on Interstate 70 East at the 68 Mile Marker. A159(EMT Telfer), RE153(Sgt Chapman), E152(Chief Nalborczyk), and C15-3(AFC Thews) responded with 14 personnel on the call. Carroll County had already dispatched a similar assignment 6 minutes prior and units were already on the scene in Carroll County. CCC1(Stull) had the I-70 Command. The Co. 15 units switched over to the Carroll talk group and assisted on the incident. There were five total patients after a car had hit a pick up truck and rolled over. Five were transported by EMS units from four counties and MSP Aviation Trooper 3. Units cleared the scene around 2300 hours.
