On Tuesday November 15th at 1815 hours, units from Green Valley and New Market were alerted for a vehicle accident with rollover in the 4300 block of Ed McClain Road in Green Valley. RE153 (Sgt. Chapman), E152 (Lt. Hanagan), and C15-2 (AFC Betts) responded on the run with 11 volunteers. A259 arrived to find a pick up truck on its side with one patient trapped. RE153 arrived and established command. The crew went to work stabilizing the truck with Rescue 42 struts and a tie-back system. E152 arrived, assumed command, and deployed a protection hose line. Once stabilized, the extrication efforts began. The roof was removed and patient quickly transferred to the care of A259 and M23. The patient was transported to an area hospital. Crews picked up a short time later.
