On Wednesday February 8th at 1905 hours, units from the 3rd Battalion and Montgomery County's 5th Battalion were dispatched for a reported barn fire in the 1100 block of Sugarloaf Mountain Road. Units went on scene with a large hay barn well involved in fire. Multiple lines were stretched by E231, BE709, and PE714. A dump site was established half way down the drive way and a fill site at a pond just down the road. A tanker task force was added to the call to supply water for fire attack. E152 (Sgt Thews) and C15-1 (DFC Moe) were added to the call with 7 volunteers to assist. E152's crew worked on tearing apart and extinguishing the burning hay bales. Crews worked for several hours before the fire as brought under control. E152 cleared at 2315 hours.

Thanks to Lisbon E41 for filling in at Station 15 while units operated on the fire.
