In the pre-dawn hours of March 1st units from Frederick County's 3rd Battalion and Montgomery County's 5th Battalion were alerted on Box 25-16 for a house fire in the 3400 block of Adgate Court in Green Valley. E152 (Capt. Hanagan), A159 (EMS Sgt Cribb), and C15-1 (DFC Moe) responded on the box with 10 volunteers. ET254 arrived on scene, layed out from the end of the driveway, and reported fire showing from the 2nd floor on the alpha side of a two story house. ET254 established the initial command, which was quickly assumed by C15-1. The rapid intervention dispatch was requested. E152 completed the layout and assumed 2nd due responsibilities. The crew from ET254 began the knock of the fire, and was assisted by E152 and TWR23. The fire was quickly knocked and contained to a room on the second floor. Units overhauled and checked for extension. The incident was scaled back a short time later.
