June 13, 2017

On Tuesday June 13th at 1742 hours Co. 15 units were alerted for a vehicle fire at the Burger King in the New Market Commons Shopping Center. E152, A159, and C15-2 (AFC Betts) responded on the call. Units arrived to find a car on fire next to the building and threatening the restaurant. C15-2 established command and requested ECC to fill the box alarm. This brought RS15 to the call as well. Crews operated for just a few minutes before the fire was completely out and confirmed no extension to the restaurant. The box alarm was placed in service and Co. 15 units cleared with 20 minutes.
