On Wednesday June 21st at 2159 hours, units from Green Valley and New Market were alerted for a vehicle into a house on Green Valley Road in the area of Archer Circle in Co. 25's area. The Company 25 DFRS staff were on a detail, so reserve units E252 and A258 responded to the run. A159(EMS Sgt Cribb), RS15(FFIII Williamson), and C15-1(DFC Moe) responded with 9 volunteers as well. Units arrived to find a pick up truck into the rear of a home on Archer Circle. C15-1 established command, and the Co. 25 units reported that all occupants were out. While the patient was being treated, RS15 was tasked with evaluating the structural damage and stability of the home. It was discovered that the entire side C (rear) basement wall was penetrated and collapsing. Their was sagging of the first floor into the basement, and damage to support columns within the basement. Utilities were controlled as part of the process, and a plan to shore up the house was formulated. A short time later, crews decided to test the stability of the home, and also the ease of removing the vehicle, by lowering air out of the front tires of the truck. Luckily the truck lowered down, and the floors held, allowing the vehicle to be removed without collapsing the home. The home was deemed unsafe for entry and crews picked up a short time later.
