Engine, Squad, and Ambulance Run House Fire in Spring Ridge

On Monday September 25th at 1106 hours, Box 33-01 was alerted for a house fire in the 6300 block of Knollwood Drive in Spring Ridge. E152 (DFRS Capt. Yoder) responded on the initial assignment. E331 arrived to find fire showing from the rear of a two story house, established the Knollwood Drive command and requested the rapid intervention dispatch. RS15 (Tech. Johnson) responded on the RID with 7 volunteers. A159 (DFRS) was also alerted and responded to assist on the initial assignment. Crews found a mostly exterior fire that had extended into the house and attic. Crews made quick work of the fire, with E152 assisting in suppression operations. RS15's crew stood by as part of the RIT team. The assignment was scaled back fairly quickly, with Co. 15 units operating for less than an hour.
