On Sunday November 19th at 0310 hours Box Alarm 25-17 was alerted for a house fire in the 12600 block of Fakhre Court. E152 (Lt. Bowles), RS15 (Tech. Johnson), B156 (Sgt. Chapman), C15 (FC Nalborczyk), C15-2 (AFC Betts), C15-3 (AFC Kennedy) responded on the box with 12 volunteers. E152 arrived on scene to find a single story house with smoke showing from side A and established the Fakhre Court Command. C15 arrived and assumed the command, requesting the RID assignment. ET254 established E152's water supply, and along with E231, set up for rural water supply operations. Fire was located in the basement and the crews worked quickly to extinguish it. RS15 was assigned to the Rescue Group along with B156 and they crews performed searches and assisted the engine companies with opening up. CCE12 established a tanker fill site at the pond on Westwind Drive. The fire was extinguished quickly enough that a nurse tanker operation was used without the need for dump tanks. Units remained on scene for about two hours before returning to service.
