On Wednesday December 6th at 1217 hours Box 33-1 was alerted for the townhouse on fire in the 6100 Block of Baldridge Circle. E152 (DFRS Lt. Welsh) and C15 (FC Nalborczyk) responded on the initial alarm. Units arrived on the scene and reported a two story middle of the row townhouse with fire showing in the rear. E331 initiated an interior attack through the front door, stretching a line to the second floor. C15 arrived and was assigned as the fire attack supervisor by command (DFRS DFC Coe). A rapid intervention dispatch and fire task force were requested by command. E152 stretched the 400' line to the rear of the townhouse to knock the exterior fire, which started on the deck. Crews worked for about 30 minutes to extinguish the fire, eventually requiring the use of an elevated master stream. RS15 (FF3 Lawson) responded on the RID assignment with 3 volunteers, and A159 (DFRS) responded on the fire task force. Crews operated for several hours before clearing the scene.

B156 (FF3 Gamble) also handled a call for a reported brush fire on I-70 that was dispatched at the same time as the box alarm. B156 responded with 2 volunteers and was not able to locate any fires.
