At 1020 hours on Wednesday, April 11, Co.15 along with A179 and A339 were dispatched to a vehicle accident at Green Valley Road and New London Road. RS15, E152, C15-1, and C15-2 responded on the call. Units arrived to find a two vehicle rear-end collision, which is very typical for this intersection. Units reported patients trapped in the mini-van and multiple patients needing EMS. ALS and multiple BLS units were added to the call, bringing A159 as they cleared the hospital from another run. Crews performed a quick extrication by removing the sliding door on the van. Five patients were promptly transported to area hospitals. C15-1 held the Green Valley Road Command.
