The New Market District Volunteer Fire Company (NMDVFC) is seeking a high-energy, well organized, detail-oriented, administrative-focused professional to fill the role of Recruitment & Retention Coordinator of Volunteer Services.

This is an ideal opportunity for the right professional to immediately apply skills to help grow a vital community service organization. However it is a limited-duration position, funded by a Federal SAFER Grant. The anticipated duration of the position is four (4) years.

To qualify for consideration, an applicant must have at least one (1) year of relevant, proven experience in recruitment; retention; volunteer or career fire/rescue leadership; human resources; military recruitment or business management. Fire/Rescue experience is preferred, but not required.

This is a full-time (40 hour per week) position that does require working off-site and off shift hours as needs of the department arise including weekends, when needed.

The starting salary range is $30,000 - $40,000, commensurate with proven experience. Benefits include health insurance reimbursement, generous leave package and schedule flexibility.
