Daytime Extrication on Interstate-70

On Thursday October 4th around 1550hrs A159(DFRS FF), RS15(DFRS Capt Davis), E152(FC Nalborczyk), C15-1(DFC Kennedy) and C15-2(AFC Betts) responded along with units from Spring Ridge and Mt Airy with a total of thirteen (13) members to Interstate-70 in the area of Mussetter Rd for a report of a vehicle accident with entrapment. First arriving RS15 confirmed that there was an occupant trapped in a pickup truck and several vehicles involved, they went to work stabilizing the vehicle and performing the extrication assisted by Engine--152's crew. C15-1 had the Interstate-70 command. Units operated for roughly thirty (30) minutes before turning the scene over to MSP.
