Recently the New Market DVFC had voted to take on the project of removing and replacing a failing block retaining wall on the West side of our alley, during this project we also elected to extend our concrete apron roughly 15' further up Firehouse Alley thus creating a more solid platform for our apparatus when it needs to park in Firehouse Alley. We would like to think the community and our neighbors for their cooperation during this project as it was well overdue and will go a long way in the name of safety and efficiency for our department. As always without our communities support, projects like this would not be possible to complete.
