The New Market District VFC extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Charter Member Barbara Zimmerman. Mrs. Zimmerman passed away on 08/12/2021 surrounded by her loved ones.

Units were dispatched around 0125 in the morning Engine 271 arrived on scene reports garage fire with extension into the house, then calls for Rapid Intervention Dispatch Chief 15 calls for a Tanker Task Force and then takes command. Two patients were out of the vehicle and one had to be removed as witness said on scene. Officer from Engine 251 had Fingerboard Road command. TRUCK FIRE ON DETRICK RD

Around 1330 today ( 07-28-2021 ) units were dispatched for a dump truck on fire in the area of Detrick rd and Barnett Dr.

A-158 arrived to find a dump truck with the cab area fully involved and requested additional units.

E-152 arrived and began a fire attack assisted by E-153 and E-172.
