On July 26, 2025 at 7:38 PM, The New Market District VFC responded to a first due house fire in the Pinehurst development. Fire location was on Beach Drive. The original call was for siding burning on the house. Engine 152 arrived on the scene, dropped their supply line at High Beach Court and Beach Drive then advanced their attack line to the rear of the house and found siding burning on the chimney, which was covered with wooden siding. Company 15 made quick control of the situation. Units returned to service approximately 45 minutes later.
