| Around 16:23 pm (06-08-2026) Units were dispatched for a school Bus accident in the area of Ball Rd and Ijamsville Rd.
Several Frederick County Fire/Rescue units were dispatched on this call bringing A-159 A-158 RS-15 Chief-15 and Chief-15C from the New Market station.
Units arrived on the scene with a school bus head on into a tree with the driver being trapped.
There were 2 students on the bus they did not require transport to a hospital for further treatment after being checked out by EMS on the scene.
Rescue squad 15 and Rescue squad 3 went to work to extricate the driver of the bus.
Aviation was requested and the driver were flown via Trooper-3 to an area trauma center for treatment.
