| On Sunday February 20th companies 25 and 15 were dispatched for a field fire off of Ganley Lane in Company 25's first due area. Engine 251(Shook) and Chief 15(Yankey) arrived to find a large grass field with approximently 5 acres involved. Chief 15 established the Ganley Lane command and Engine 251 had operations. Command requested 4 Bursh trucks and 2 tankers bringing units to the scene. Brush 156(Lawson) and Engine 251 made the intial attack and with the help of ET154(Broyles) made a quick stop on the rapidly advancing fire. Units were held for approximently one hour to mop up and knock down hotspots. Good job by all personnel on scene in containing the fire. |
