| Today the district fire stations participated in the 1st annual Costco distribution center public safety day. Both stations 915 and 925 assembled around 0900hrs and preformed 2 vehicle extrication demonstrations. The crews displayed apparatus tools and the newest techniques in both stabilization and hydraulic tools as well as the rescue42 strut system. The crews preformed door removal, 3rd door conversions as well and removing a roof and pushing a dash for patient access. This was done with the vehicles on its wheels as well as on its roof. After words the warehouse provided the firefighter with a delicious cookout. A good time had by all. This event was informative and educational by all involved. The crew at station 915 would like to continue and build this amazing relationship as both companies continue to grow in the community. |
