Sunday March 23rd was a busy day for the New Market Volunteers. Between 1300 hours on Sunday afternoon and 0530 hours Monday morning the station handled nine calls, including three box alarms and one structure assignment. Here is a recap: 3/23/14 - 1319 hours - 6100 Block of Mississippi Lane - Unconscious Overdose - 3/23/14 - 1324 hours - 7th Street & Main Street - Chimney Fire - (Structure 15-01) - 3/23/14 - 1622 hours - 6200 Block of Detrick Road - Barn Fire - (Box 15-07) - 3/23/14 - 1702 hours - Route 75 at Interstate 70 - Vehicle Accident - 3/23/14 - 1807 hours - 5700 Block of Bucks Run Trail - Smoke in House - (Box 15-02) - 3/23/14 - 1911 hours - 6100 Block of Springwater Place - Smoke from the House - (Box 33-01) - 3/23/14 - 1922 hours - 6500 Block of Edgewood Road - Sick Person - 3/23/14 - 2005 hours - Interstate 70 Westbound at Exit 68 - Vehicle Fire - 3/24/14 - 0533 hours - 6600 Block of High Beach Court East - Vehicle Lock-out - All in all it was a very busy day in New Market.
