Many words of thought and acknowledgement was given for the folks that work hard day in and out to make our department the successful department it is, we also send as much praise as imaginably possible to our citizens and communities supporting us on a daily basis.

The membership of the department would like to send special THANKS to our hard working auxiliary for their donation of $2,500.00 toward our new Engine Company.

The members of New Market District Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company look forward to working harder and harder to make the year 2014 just as successful as the 59 years before if not even more successful.

The department also owes a big THANKS to the volunteers of Middletown VFD, Libertytown VFD, Thurmont Community Ambulance and Wolfsville VFD for their coverage of our apparatus so we could enjoy a night off.
