In the early hours of Tuesday August 19th, Box Alarm 17-9 was sounded for the report of a barn fire in the 13200blk of Coppermine Rd. With several units failing to respond Companies 15 and 11(Walkersville Fire) were added to the assignment to fill out the box. Engine-152(FF3 Thews) responded immediately on the run with six (6) volunteers. While enroute BC902(BC Coe) advised Engine-152 to take the 5th due position and report to a fill site, Engine-152 utilized the dry hydrant at St. Benedicts Church. The driver and crew from Engine-152 worked hard to establish a fill-site and filled Tankers for 2 1/2 hours.
