On Sunday September 28th at 1756 hours units were alerted on Box 15-16 for fire in a condo in the 10200 block of White Pelican Way in Lake Linganore. E152(Capt. Thews), B156(FF Wagaman), U15(FF Smith), A159(FF Rosebrock), and D15(Lt. Conaway) responded on the call with 19 volunteers. Duty 15 arrived first on the scene to find smoke showing from the delta side of a 2 story multi-family structure. D15 established the White Pelican Way command. E152 arrived and stretched a line to the 2nd floor where the crew found a dryer on fire extending to the condo. E152-A was assigned as the division 2 leader. The crew put a quick knock on the fire, checked for extension, performed a primary search, and began horizontal ventilation. U15's crew assisted by throwing ground ladders to the 2nd floor. Command quickly scaled back the assignment to companies 15, 33, and Truck 41. All units cleared within an hour. Good work by all.
