Chief, Deputy Chief and Car Special Alarmed to assist with Trench Rescue

Around 1130hrs units from the 2nd Battalion as well as Frederick County Advanced Technical Rescue units were alerted to a Confined Space Rescue in Myersville. While responding units were updated that this incident was a Trench Rescue with a worker trapped up to his neck in dirt. Additional units were requested immediately such as the GO Team from R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma and the MCFRS Trench Rescue Team. With the incident becoming a resource enriched incident, Chief-15 polled available Volunteer Special Operations Members do produce a staffing count to ECC, in all 3 SPOP members reported to the scene of the rescue in Myersville. Upon arrival the members were directed to stage and then were eventually put to work in the final minutes of the extrication effort.
