Double Trauma on the I70WB Ramp to RT75

Around 0500hrs on Saturday December 20th, 2014, A159(EMSII Telfer) and RE153(Cheif Nalborczyk) were dispatched to the ramp from Interstate-70 Westbound to Green Valley Rd (RT75) for the report of a vehicle of the road into a tree, while units were responding ECC upgraded the assignment to a collision with subject having chest pains bringing E152(FFII White), C15-2(Betts) and M17. Upon the arrival A159 they confirmed the address and provided a quick scene size-up to indicate they had two trauma patients at location. Upon the arrival of RE153, Chief Nalborczyk assumed the New Market Command and requested a 2nd BLS and ALS unit to the scene, RE153's crew went to work assisting A159 with patient care, upon the arrival of E152 they secured the vehicle and set up scene lighting, CCM19 responded to assist with the additional ALS request. Both patients were transported by ground to the appropriate trauma facilities by M159 and CCM19. Untis operated for 45 minutes before returning to service.
