On Saturday January 10 at 1600 hours units from Montgomery, Frederick, and Carroll Counties were alerted for a house fire in the 28000 block of Kemptown Road in Damascus Co. 13's first due. Initial units on the scene found fire showing from a two story farm house and began an exterior attack. BC705 had the Kemptown Road Command. Command requested the fire task force just a few minutes into the incident to assist. E915 (Chief Nalborczyk) was alerted as the first due engine on the task force and responded with a crew of 6 volunteers. E915 arrived and was put to work under BC703 opening up the walls on the bravo side of the house. E915 was then reassigned to the Delta Division to hit hot spots at that location. E915's officer was assigned at the division leader. E915 operated for about an hour before returning to service.
