New Market Assists on Co. 14 House Fire

On Sunday June 14th at 1612 hours units were alerted for a house fire in the 4300 block of Cap Stine Road in Co. 14's first due. First arriving units found a working fire and both the Rapid Intervention Dispatch and Tanker Task Forces were requested. Units were forced into an exterior attack due to a rapid advancing fire. RE153 (FF3 Hannaby) transferred to Co. 3 with 5 volunteers a short time later. D15 (Capt. Conaway) responded along with ET254 on the Tanker Task Force. RE153 was later alerted with two other units to assist on the fire about two and a half hours after the initial dispatch. RE153 assisted with overhaul and final extinguishment operations.
