The New Market Volunteers participated in the National Night Out event which took place nation-wide on Tuesday August 4th. Its a time for communities across the nation to come out and meet their local first responders (police, fire, etc.) and spend some time with them. The New Market Volunteers attended an event in Lake Linganore, taking several pieces of apparatus and almost a dozen members to meet with the public. The members and community enjoyed themselves and spent several hours together. We are proud to serve such a great and welcoming community and we thank everyone who came out!
