The New Market Volunteers attended another birthday party. Neighbors at first were concerned by the firetruck and ambulance coming to the block but were overly joyed when they realized it was for a birthday party. The birthday party turned into a block party and we're not sure if it was more fun for the kids or the adults. Kids got to practice with the fire hose and then watch the engine driver fill up the engine with water and use our deck gun. During this time, B156 was dispatched to Montgomery County Fire Station 22 in Germantown for a transfer while Montgomery County handled a large brush fire. Every piece of apparatus was on the street during this time.
