On Sunday September 27th at 1900 hours Ambulance 158 Returned to service for the first time in quite some time. With the number of EMS members on the Sunday night crew and the demands within the county and neighboring jurisdictions, the volunteers put A158 into service for the night. This will occur as often as possible as staffing allows. The advantage to having an additional ambulance at station 15 is a reduced response time for an EMS unit when our front line unit is already on a call. The second call scenario happens quite often for Co. 15. We are excited to be placing the additional unit in service and continue to look for ways to provide increased service to our community.
