Overturned Vehicle on I-70 Leads to Flyout

On Sunday September 27th at 1940 hours, units from New Market and Spring Ridge were alerted for a vehicle accident with rollover and entrapment on Interstate 70 westbound at the 58 mile marker. A159(FF Rosebrock), A158(EMT Smith), RE153(Sgt. Kline), E152(Lt. Williamson), B156(FF G. White), C15-3(AFC Kennedy) responded with 20 volunteers. Units arrived to find a single vehicle rolled over with one subject unconscious. Aviation was requested for a priority one category A trauma patient and command was established. There was no entrapment however. Units worked to treat and package the patient. MSP Trooper 3 land on Interstate 70 and transported the patient to the Shock Trauma. Units cleared a short time later.
