House Fire on Old Annapolis Road

At 1452 hours on Thursday afternoon, Box 17-31 was alerted for a house on fire in the 10300 block of Old Annapolis Road. E152(Sgt Kline), RE153(DFRS Capt Moser), B156(FF M. Thews), A159(DFRS FF Katuna), U15(FF Gamble), C15-2(AFC Betts), and C15-3 (AFC Kennedy) responded on the call with 15 personnel. C15-3 arrived to find a 2 story house with fire showing. C15-3 established command and requested the RID. Units initiated an aggressive interior attack and found fire on the first floor and the attic void space. Crews worked for about 30 minutes before all fire was knocked down. E152, B156, and U15 operated in the second floor, while RE153 operated as the RIT team, and A159 was rehab. A tanker task force and fire task force were also requested to assist. Units cleared around 1700 hours.
