At 1655hrs on Sunday November 15th, E925(251)(3rd Due) and E915(152)(5th Due) was dispatched to Montgomery County in the 28900blk of Ridge Rd for a reported house on fire, both E251(DFRS LT Hartle) and E152(Chief Nalborczyk) responded immediately with 8 personnel. While responding Montgomery ECC adjusted the Box Assignment moving E152 to 4th due which arrived 2nd. Upon arrival on the scene E251 was assigned to Division-1 to help with opening up and checking for extension, E152 was assigned to report to the attic were Division-1 reported they had significant smoke conditions. E152 rapidly deployed to the attic area checking for any extension and performing the Primary and Secondary search all efforts proved negative and confirmed only trapped smoke in the attic. Command(C713) held the assignment with Damascus units and the rest RTS. While returning to quarters CCIV18 came across a motor vehicle collision at RT27 & Mill Bottom Rd units from Frederick, Carroll and Howard responded bringing E152, RE153(Sgt Kline), CCE12, HCE42 and HCET44. Upon arrival of E152 CCIV18 advised they had a single patient and the assignment was scaled back to CCIV18 & HCE42. Units in the Four County (Frederick, Carroll, Howard & Montgomery) region pride themselves in their great working relationship and ability to operate under four (4) sets of SOGs.
