The Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company #5 recently held their annual banquet on Saturday February 27th. New Market District VFC was asked to provide staffing for Truck 5 during the event. Four volunteers from Co. 15 staffed Truck 5(Capt Conaway), while another helped fill out the staffing on RE52, complimenting the staffing from Wolfsville VFD. The crews spent the eveing checking out the equipment, familiarizing themselves with the units, attending the banquet and responding to a call for a gas leak inside a home. The crew stayed all night providing coverage so that the Brunswick VFD members could enjoy the well deserved night off.

Additionally, E152(FF3 Hannaby) moved up to the Rohersville sub-station #8 of the First Hose Company of Boonsboro to provide coverage while their members attended their banquet. Six volunteers staffed E152 at Washington County Station 8 from 1500 to 2400 hours. No calls were handled by E152 while at Station 8.
