Vehicle Collision with Flyout in Monrovia

On Saturday May 14th at 2333 hours units from New Market and Green Valley were alerted for a vehicle accident on Route 75 at the railroad bridge in Monrovia. RE153(AFC Kennedy) responded on the call with 4 volunteers. Units arrived to find multiple vehicles involved with two injured. A medic unit, aviation, and an additional BLS unit were requested. RE153 established the Green valley Road Command. E152(FF3 Thews) responded with 6 volunteers to set up a landing zone for MSP Trooper 3 at the Food Lion in New Market. A159(EMT Mitchell) responded with 3 as the additional BLS unit. The patient to be flown out was transported by A259 to the landing zone, and the patient was transported to Shock Trauma by Trooper 3. A159 transported another patient to FMH. Units cleared at 0030 hours.
