Just as units were clearing a serious collision on Route 80 on Saturday, a second collision assignment was dispatched for the 3600 block of Green Valley Road. Being only a mile away, RE153 (Sgt. Kline), E152 (Capt. Nalborczyk), C15-2 (AFC Betts), and C15-3 (AFC Kennedy) responded to the call with 15 volunteers. Units arrived to find a two vehicle collision with one patient trapped in a convertible. E152 established the Green Valley Road Command and crews went to work extricating the patient. After the quick extrication the patient was handed off to A248 for transport to an area hospital.
