On Wednesday December 7th at 1134 hours, units from New Market and Mount Airy were alerted for a vehicle accident with one patient ejected on Interstate 70 eastbound at the scale house. A159, E152, and E154 responded with 10 personnel. The company 15 units arrived to find a single vehicle rolled over with a patient ejected into the median. The patient sustained serious injuries and aviation was requested. A landing zone was established at the scene. The patient was transported by MSP Trooper 3 to a trauma center.
