The morning of Tuesday May 16th proved to be a busy morning for the Volunteers and DFRS staff of Company-15. At 0719hrs E152(DFRS Capt Newman) and RS15(Capt Hanagan) were alerted for the House Fire on Braveheart Circle in Urbana VFD's first due area. E152 arrived 3rd and took the Charlie (Rear) side position and RS15 assisted with ventilation. Units operated on the scene of what ended up being an electrical fire for nearly an hour. Following immediately behind the box alarm, at 0723 hours A159(DFRS FF Hall), B156(FF Klingensmith) and D15(LT Bowles) responded for a report of a vehicle accident with entrapment at Green Valley Road and Drummine Road. First arriving A159 confirmed that there was entrapment and B156 worked with RE171's crew, (with RS15 was committed to the Box Alarm), to stabilize the vehicle and remove the drivers door. D15 had the Green Valley Road Command. Units operated on this incident for nearly an hour also. In total 11 members from Company-15 responded on these two incidents.
