On June 4th 2019 at 11:24 am, Rescue Squad 15 was dispatched for a house fire in the 1500 block of Old Annapolis Road in Howard County, MD. Units from four counties responded on the initial alarm. First arriving units found a large two story home with fire showing and initiated a defensive attack. A second alarm and task force were eventually requested, bringing Engine 152, Chief 15, and Ambulance 159.
Upon arrival crews from Co. 15 reported to command and were assigned to exterior hose lines on both sides of the house. A elevated master stream from Howard County Tower 2 was eventually placed into service to provide better reach for the suppression effort. The fire was knocked within an hour and the Co.15 units were in service within two hours of dispatch.
