Units Respond to Christmas Day Fire

On Christmas morning at 1051hrs, E152(DFRS Lt Creager), RS15(FC Nalborczyk), A159(DFRS), U15(EMS Capt Jones) and C15-1(DFC Kennedy) responded to Box 15-24 for a house fire in the 6200blk of Woodville Rd with a total of nineteen (19) personnel. First arriving Frederick County C11-1 found smoke showing and shortly after advised he had fire showing, then requested the Rapid Intervention Dispatch. Carroll County Chief 1 held the Woodville Road command and requested a tanker task force. Engine-152 assisted first arriving Carroll County Engine-12 with Fire Suppression, Rescue Squad-15 and Utility-15 performed Searches and worked with Engine-152 for Fire Suppression. A159 was assigned and maintained the Rehab Group. Chief-15-1 was assigned to be the Division-1 Supervisor. Units operated for several hours before being returned to service.
