Over the past two (2) Sundays units from New Market District VFC as well as Hazardous Materials Units from the Spring Ridge Fire Station have been alerted for large fuel spills at the Costco of New Market, MD. On the second response on Sunday the 17th at roughly 1500hrs E152(Sgt Parrish), RS15(Lt Chapman), SUP15(Lt Kennedy) and C15(Nalborczyk) responded with a total nineteen (19) personnel, units arrived to find the exact same scenario as the week before, C15 held the Command. Units went to work stabilizing the trailer, assuring a zero mechanical state and deploying a protection line for the later arriving Hazmat Units. The Hazmat Units arrived and performed a pump off of the fuel tank, once this was complete, units returned to service, turning the scene over to representatives.
