Several Units assist Mt Airy Units with House Fire

On Sunday May 17th at 2139hrs, Carroll County ECC dropped the Box for Box Alarm 1-15 in the 1100blk of Village Gate Ct with reports of subjects trapped. E152(Lt Chapman) and RS15(Sgt Parrish) responded immediately with twelve (12) personnel, A159(EMSII DuFour) was later added to fill out the assignment and responded with two (2) additional personnel. First arriving CCR1 went on the scene to find a small fire in a 2nd floor bedroom, establishing command and requesting the Rapid Intervention Dispatch bringing E153(AFC Bowles) with an additional six (6) personnel to the scene. Upon arrival of units, E152 went to work laying an additional supply line and advancing a back-up line, RS15 was put to work performing the Primary Search and E153 performed as part of the Rapid Intervention Team. Units operated on the scene for nearly an hour assisting units from Mt Airy VFC before returning to service.
